Well with so many dupped items and e-bay gold floating around, I'd have to say the most valuable object is something that can't be bought or traded. Something you MUST earn yourself.

Hmm, I would have said gold trim, but you can have a gold trim on your cape from buying membership into the guild with members that actually earned the trim, so that doesn't count.

How about a Phoenix emote? Sure you can pay someone to farm fame, but can you actually pay your way to a phoenix without any PvP skill whatsoever?

Hahaa, I picked up a Celestial Scepter a while back. Req 13 illusion, HCT Death 20%, HSR Smiting 20%.

I still am not sure why I'm keeping it other than "it's unusual".

Most valuable thing in GW? Probably the Guild Hall...So much quicker to zone into there for a quick signet of capture than a town.

I meant balance in a wide sense, including PvE and PvP. In PvE you have things such as DoA and skill power scaled to grind titles. As for PvP, yes, it is better now, but Anet certainly took its time to address the issues. This week new skills are coming, so we'll see how it will go...

Ex: wand (req x smiting)
HSR of water
HCT of blood

Focus:

req x spawning power
tactics +1
HSR domination.

Since this is about object and what I want most, I'd have to say nothing special.
I have asked a guildie for a mesmer staff comparable to the endgame NF green (FC req) because I destroyed mine by accident.
He wants to give me something for my carto help (still do that for free for guildies, but he insisted).

But that's about it. I might take a look at the new GWEN armors.
I don't have a warrior and my ranger has his set of bows.
I want functionality and looks might be good, but function > looks.

Having said that, my Koss looks great with (purple) Crystalline and Magmas Shield and Goren has Celestial sword + Shield.
That's about how much I care for nice looks, I give them to demanding heroes.

About a year ago, i wouldnt have been able to agree more.... silver cape guild invite = 10k... gold cape, not sure, figure 100k (not saying ur guild, just saying)..... that lost alot of "value" in my eyes.....

i would have to agree... about the dwarven, precustomized....

but with the EBAY FTW players... i feel no item has true value except for the actual value to the owner....

an item may be worth 100k 1750 arms or such, but the ability to slap someones trade window with it at will, i think is worth more....

i think, the ingame friends would have to be the top, yet they control the "value" of that, because if they stop playing, what "value" are they...

personaly... my account, my titles, my weapons, my "knowing" that i earned all i have, being a legit player, is more "valuable" to me then the price someone is willing to pay...
